"EDIT: Marc did call me after reading the review which did make a difference on the customer service front. Also explained statefarm has been doing quite a few cancellations in Colorado - which again is not on him nor his office but corporate - which is why he didn’t catch mine. Overall still sucks on the cancelation but the call made an impact TLDR:office staff is friendly and overall good rates - I do recommend giving them a shot. 3 stars is poor professional courtesy for no follow up after being dropped for a single theft claim. Drop is on corporate, not them, but would’ve expected more. A simple follow up would have made the difference. I’ve only ever worked with Peter and occasionally Eric at this office. Been a policy holder for both home and auto for just under 2 years. Peter was nice, was fairly responsive on questions, got letters from Marc thanking me for being a client around typical dates like birthday, Christmas etc. Overall it WAS a great experience and never had any complaints - overall good service and guidance. Then, I filed a theft claim, never filed any other claim before this and once again, customer service was super helpful. Fast forward 4 months and I get a random mail from StateFarm they are canceling my home owners insurance because I filed the claim. Is it annoying? Yes. Is it just business? Yes, it is what it is. However the reason for the 3 stars is not because they dropped me (for one single claim, but that’s corporate decision and not on them), but the fact I never received an email, call, text, anything from Marc’s office to at least check in and explain the situation. Nope, just a letter in the mail about being canceled for the claim. Again, it’s a business decision by higher ups and I am not faulting them for that, but at the very least show some common courtesy and follow up after you - the office - were notified of the cancellation."

"I have been working with Peter at this office. I changed the coverage on my old car to storage and got a new coverage on the new car. I was charged twice in April and until now I still have not got the money back for the second payment. I have tried to contact Peter several times and he eventually just ignored me completely. I switched broker but they still could not help me because they did not have the full billing info on my account. I just want my money back but State Farm billing makes it very complicated to follow. Sometimes you don't even know why the bill is different every month."

"I've had the same auto insurance policy for 47 years without ever filing a claim for an accident. Finally the day came when it was necessary to file a claim after someone hit my vehicle while it was parked in a lot. That's when the endless problems began. State Farm kept telling me I could get my money IF I responded to their email. The problem was that the email never came. For whatever reason, State Farm is unable to send me any emails. I spent HOURS trying to solve the problem, to no avail. Four times, by four different State Farm employees, I was told that "a ticket had been opened" and that I would receive a call. It's been 6 months, but no one has ever called! I asked Marc for help, like give me a name, or a phone number, or a department I can call - otherwise, I have nowhere to turn. All Marc offered was a suggestion that I call the Customer Complaint Department. State Farm's policies won't allow their employees to text their customers, or use email that's not the official company email system. This means State Farm cannot communicate with me - at all - after an accident. I still cannot receive their emails, they refuse to text and they don't call back. Marc doesn't seem to care. Later, when I had my vehicle towed and wanted to be reimbursed by State Farm, I waited for weeks, but received no check. When I asked why, Marc told me he had repeatedly asked the towing company to send him the detailed invoices, but he never received them. So I called the towing company and received them within minutes - and then forwarded them to Marc. Marc's excuse for not getting involved is that he has no "control" over the IT department or the towing company. My experience is that Marc believes in "Do It Yourself." He doesn't go the first mile, much less the extra mile. I've had State Farm for almost 50 years, working with many State Farm agents over 5 decades. Marc is the laziest one I've ever met. I'm now transferring to another agent within State Farm. I suggest you look elsewhere too."
